With his lectures, Gore has come into his own. Refined over the years when new studies and research have shed more light on the issues, and employing colorful graphs, entertaining animations and hard-hitting facts, his presentation seeks to be an all-encompassing introduction and explanation of the current climate crisis. If only all lectures could be this slick. Now, at a theater near you, Al Gore is giving his lecture on the big screen in An Inconvenient Truth.
A former vice president lecturing on the environment. Hardly the strongest selling point for a major film. Yet, An Inconvenient Truth not only manages to be entertaining and informative, but also an extremely important moviegoing experience. Those who are confused about the issue will be greatly rewarded by seeing it, because Gore and director Davis Guggenheim manage in 90 minutes to be more engaging and cogent than most material out there about the environment.
Inconvenient Truth is now opening all over Japan.
